About the Role

Proud Moments ABA is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians (BT's) to provide specialized 1-on-1 ABA services to children on the autism spectrum in home-based settings. Responsibilities

  • Implement behavioral plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) in one-on-one client sessions at home.
  • Collect data to monitor treatment plan progress and effectiveness.
  • Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Respond promptly to client, family, and supervisor needs and requests.
  • Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and relevant parties.
  • Physically manage active clients, including standing, sitting, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, running, squatting, and kneeling.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by BCBA/LBA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience working with children is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting individuals with behavioral challenges, developmental delays, or special needs is preferred.
  • Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Reliable personal transportation for consistent commuting to work locations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
