About the Role

This 10-week trading system engineering summer internship program is based in Dublin, Ireland, and London. It's a computationally intensive role where you'll use strong technical skills to solve problems at the intersection of trading, data, and technology. You will gain education on financial markets and Susquehanna's trading approach, working on challenging projects in low latency C++ trading system development alongside senior developers.

Responsibilities

  • Work on challenging projects for trading strategy development teams.
  • Engage in low latency C++ trading system development.
  • Collaborate with senior developers on complex trading strategies.

Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor's student in their penultimate year of study, majoring in a quantitative and/or STEM discipline (e.g., computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, data science).
  • Intend to graduate and begin full-time employment by August 2028.
  • Enjoy building relationships and comfortable sharing ideas.
  • Enjoy setting personal goals and working to achieve them.
  • Strong software development skills in C++, C, or Rust.
  • Some experience with Python.
  • Experience and comfort working with data using libraries such as Pandas, Polars, or NumPy.
  • Exceptional quantitative, logical reasoning, and analytical skills.
  • Use clear and sound reasoning to solve problems, utilizing numbers and data.
  • Legally eligible to work in Ireland and the UK.
