About the Role

Bank of America is seeking a professional to manage diverse administrative functions, often for large, complex departments or business lines. Responsibilities

  • Manage diverse administrative functions, including financial control, budgeting, personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises management, project coordination, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity, and communication.
  • Consult with senior management to evaluate current methods and develop strategies for implementing changes and improvements.
  • Lead support/administrative functions for a department, including budget analysis, operations analysis, workflow issue identification and resolution, associate training, service quality, and process improvement.
  • Resolve personnel, audit, and/or budget issues by researching and analyzing complex problems.
  • Administer bank programs and policies, providing interpretation to the department.
  • Direct workflow activities.
  • Model an inclusive environment for employees and clients.
  • Demonstrate deep process knowledge, operational excellence, and innovation.
  • Communicate enterprise decisions, purpose, and results, connecting them to team strategy and contributions.
  • Ensure proper risk discipline, controls, and culture are in place.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to motivate, differentiate, and improve performance.
  • Actively manage expenses and budgets.
  • Assess talent and build bench strength for roles across the organization.
  • Deliver results by effectively prioritizing, inspecting, and delegating team work.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business support, Consumer Bank leadership, or risk management in a complex organization supporting senior leaders.
  • Recent experience managing/leading Financial Center Channel Markets/Regions.
  • Strong analytical, enterprise leadership, and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Ability to think strategically across the organization to identify opportunities for performance efficiency improvement.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing/competing priorities.
  • Ability to decompose complex issues and drive timely decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence.
  • Advanced/Expert MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Extremely organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to manage and prioritize competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to develop executive-ready communications and presentations that synthesize data.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive plans around key organizational priorities and ensure accountability.
  • Organization, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive business information.
  • Prior experience managing multiple projects and adjusting to changing deadlines.
  • Resourceful ability to navigate a large and complex organization.
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience handling multiple facets of an end-to-end business: financial management, project management, governance, operations and technology management, and executive routine coordination.
  • Strong analytical skills, with an investigative mindset and ability to use data to enhance efficiency and develop reporting.
  • Strong partnership and relationship management skills; ability to work and effectively communicate across functions and organizational lines/levels.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to present key messages, effective recommendations, and information in a clear, concise, insightful, and influential way.
