About the Role
Austin Community College is seeking a Course Developer to provide program assistance and support to Distance Learning. This role involves collaborating with instructional designers, instructors, and subject-matter experts to develop instructional materials and build them within the LMS course shells, ensuring timely and accessible content.
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with Instructional Designers, instructors and subject-matter experts to develop instructional materials
- Complete tasks assigned to build and develop materials in the LMS course shells
- Ensure the timely development of accessible instructional materials
- Assist with follow-up and support to instructors as they incorporate materials into their courses
- Assist in course design, development and review process
- Assist in the development of training and workshop materials
- Compiles data and produces routine reports or documents
- Provide support for college wide DE activities and events
- Other duties and committee work as assigned
Requirements
- Must maintain a domicile in the State of Texas while working for the college and throughout the duration of employment
