About the Role
This strategic and execution-focused marcomms role involves defining how Samsung Ads presents itself in the market across owned and paid channels, from campaigns and thought leadership to CRM, website content, social storytelling, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate is passionate about data, naturally curious, and adept at translating strategy into impactful content and optimized results.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the European content marketing strategy, translating business priorities into compelling stories and narratives.
- Create and oversee high-quality content across various formats, including whitepapers, case studies, keynotes, video concepts, newsletters, website, and social assets.
- Partner with regional stakeholders to ensure consistent and compelling communication of the Samsung Ads value proposition.
- Own website content planning, updates, and optimization to enhance user journeys and storytelling.
- Utilize data and audience insights to improve website performance, engagement, and content relevance.
- Lead CRM as a strategic discipline, using Salesforce to connect audience insights, campaign messaging, content engagement, and conversion.
- Build a CRM approach ensuring every message and journey has a clear purpose and measurable outcome.
- Partner with sales, operations, and commercial stakeholders to create audience segments and nurture flows.
- Define and execute the social media strategy for Samsung Ads in Europe.
- Develop platform-native content for social media, including copy and creative briefs.
- Track social media performance and community engagement to refine strategy.
- Lead paid media planning and activation for marketing and communications campaigns in Europe.
- Own the email marketing strategy and execution, including campaign planning, segmentation, messaging, testing, and reporting.
- Build email programs to support various stages of the customer journey.
- Define success metrics across channels and campaigns, establishing a measurement framework.
- Translate data into actionable insights to identify areas for improvement and demonstrate business impact.
- Share results and recommendations with stakeholders to strengthen future planning.
- Provide clarity on strategy, team purpose, and direction.
- Support team development through mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
- Role model inclusion to build trust and psychological safety within the team.
- Ensure effective communication within the team, cascading information from leadership.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for team members.
- Oversee annual people management cycles, including goal setting, evaluation, and salary reviews.
- Ensure team compliance with company processes, procedures, and values.
Requirements
- Proven marketing leadership experience in developing and executing integrated brand and content strategies across multiple channels.
- Strong storytelling and brand positioning abilities.
- Hands-on content creation experience, comfortable with both strategy and execution.
- Digital-first mindset with experience managing paid and owned media channels, CRM systems, and web platforms.
- Data-driven approach, confident in using metrics and insights to optimize performance and demonstrate business impact.
