About the Role

The T1(Taylor) FS Design Engineering Lead serves as the primary 3D design leader driving the connection between 5D modelers, T1 FS THU internal teams, and external construction vendors. This role ensures complex utility packages are spatially coordinated, clash-free, and released on time, translating complex design intent into seamless fab installation. A primary focus is maintaining design schedule output and engineering focus through RFI management and field support, acting as the primary 3D design filter for RFIs and clashes in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Responsibilities

Technical leader of S5D design software for tool hook-up.
Subject matter expert in design-related field issues responsible for RFI closure.
Solving engineering design hook-up problems using sound engineering principles.
Manage team of 4-5 engineers and project managers.
Work with DSK expats to develop and execute design strategy.
Provide technical ownership of ACC for design communication with internal and external.
Report and communicate 3D design progress.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience working directly on-site alongside trade contractors.
