About the Role
Ensure patients receive the best quality of care by reviewing prescriptions, educating on lens options, and providing frame selection guidance. Achieve sales goals and manage inventory.
Responsibilities
- Review Physician’s prescriptions and orders based on medical charts
- Educate patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferences with a basic understanding of lens fundamentals.
- Provide honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frames
- Achieve sales goals and quotas as determined by office staff while attending to patients’ specific needs and desires
- Manage inventory of frames and contact lenses to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product variety
- Measure and fit eyeglasses properly.
- Perform basic adjustments and repairs of eyewear.
- Place optical orders with a general understanding of insurance benefits
