About the Role

The London EDITION is seeking a driven, diligent, and friendly Floor Supervisor for Berners Tavern to oversee a section, lead the waiting staff, and ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a section in the restaurant: taking orders, making recommendations, and processing payments
• Lead the Head Waiter/ress, Chef de Rang and Commis Waiters
• Have an in-depth knowledge of food, drink, and allergens
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
• Communicate clearly with management and the kitchen
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
• Implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety
• Take responsibility for ensuring a seamless guest experience

Requirements

• Restaurant experience preferably in fine-dining
• Is a team player
• Takes pride in delivering sophisticated, personalised service
• Is a great communicator
• Has fun while doing their job
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
