About the Role
This role is for an EIT or PE interested in working with a dynamic team on a wide range of water-wastewater projects, providing planning, design, and construction phase engineering services. The position offers mentorship, technical guidance, client-facing opportunities, and involvement in professional organizations.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team and independently in learning, evaluating, and applying engineering principles, standards, and criteria.
- Perform specific project tasks and assist the Project Engineer and Project Manager.
- Conduct field visits and attend client meetings.
- Assist in producing and developing deliverables for clients and regulatory authorities.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with project team members.
- Support multiple projects simultaneously with complex technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and coordination with sub-discipline staff for water and wastewater facilities projects.
Requirements
- A four-year accredited B.S. degree in Civil, Mechanical or other related engineering discipline.
- Two plus years of relevant progressive experience related to water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
- Ability to read/interpret technical literature, and engineering plans and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills through applied engineering principles.
- Proficient knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) and Revu Bluebeam.
- Team approach to work production and delivery.
- Strong customer service attitude and a passion to meet Client’s needs.
