About the Role
This position is part of a 3000-hour on-the-job training program designed for the development of engineering technicians, with potential to qualify for Assistant Team Leader upon successful completion. Immigration sponsorship is not available, except for TN visa candidates.
Responsibilities
- Review plans, specifications, and construction methods to calculate quantities, create electronic sketches, and interpret field conditions.
- Perform routine inspection and monitoring of material conditions (concrete, steel, timber).
- Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment, and elevation of structures.
- Gather and document hydraulic information, including scour documentation and depth readings.
- Make field notes and computations.
- Take photographs and organize them for field reports.
- Input collected data into electronic formats.
- Utilize various software to produce inspection reports.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Candidates must be enrolled in a 3000-hour on-the-job training program.
- Candidates possessing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or higher education are not eligible for this specific program.
