About the Role

Play a key role in supporting business development activities with Combined Authorities and managing tender responses for public procurement opportunities across the UK. Build strong customer relationships, coordinate complex bid submissions, and act as the voice of the customer throughout the tender process. Requirements

Commercially focused professional with experience in a customer-facing sales, commercial, or bid management environment.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities whilst working to demanding deadlines.
Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including senior customer representatives.
Ability to analyse customer requirements.
Ability to prepare compelling tender responses.
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Proactive approach.
Strong commercial awareness.
Willingness to travel.

Skills

Experience within the bus, transport, manufacturing, or public sector procurement sectors.
Knowledge of Combined Authority transport operations and franchising models.
Experience producing high-quality tender submissions for public procurement exercises.
Technical knowledge of buses and vehicle specifications.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
