About the Role
New Berlin Hills Golf Course is seeking a motivated individual for a part-time Grounds & Maintenance Staff position. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a positive member and guest experience while growing knowledge of golf club operations within Troon, a global leader in golf and community management.
Responsibilities
- Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
- Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers, and utility vehicles.
- Plants trees, shrubs, turfgrass, and flowers.
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
- Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
- Maintains the landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer, and grooming.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- One month of related experience or training.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must be able to work in a wide range of weather conditions, including warm, cold, wet, and dry.
- Must be available to work weekends.
