About the Role
We are seeking a creative and community-focused Guest Engagement Manager to cultivate our local guest base, foster repeat visits, and create memorable experiences. This role acts as a liaison between our restaurant, nightlife operations, and the community, driving brand visibility both online and offline. The position promotes a positive culture, oversees guest engagement, events, marketing, social media, and partnerships, while supporting financial performance and brand growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales, marketing, guest engagement, and nightlife strategies.
- Create business plans and programming for rooftop bars, nightlife, and guest engagement.
- Implement strategies to increase awareness, traffic, sales, and repeat visits.
- Develop and manage promotional campaigns, including specials and loyalty initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute in-house and off-site events.
- Manage event logistics, including entertainment, vendors, budgets, and operational coordination.
- Source and book entertainment, evaluating programming based on brand fit and financial performance.
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and industry partners.
- Represent the venue at community events and industry gatherings.
- Develop and manage the guest referral program.
- Manage social media activities across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with events and marketing objectives.
- Capture and coordinate photo and video content.
- Create and publish relevant, high-quality content across digital channels.
- Develop engaging website and blog content.
- Respond to social media comments, messages, and online reviews.
- Develop, execute, and evaluate social media and digital marketing campaigns.
- Monitor engagement, audience behavior, and market trends to adjust strategies.
- Track and report on event attendance, revenue, referral activity, and campaign performance.
- Develop and manage financial and guest satisfaction plans for rooftop bars and nightlife.
- Collaborate with food and beverage leadership to improve financial performance.
- Monitor sales, costs, and profitability.
- Assess market position and recommend enhancements to achieve objectives.
- Develop and execute bar and nightlife programs.
- Monitor guest and employee satisfaction, service standards, and operational performance.
- Ensure adherence to beverage and food standards.
- Lead, influence, and motivate team members.
- Evaluate programming, partnerships, and marketing opportunities.
- Develop and manage cross-functional initiatives.
- Promote and reinforce the brand's service culture.
- Ensure employees understand and execute service expectations.
- Set and ensure clear service expectations for guests.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints.
- Support departmental orientation and onboarding programs.
- Enforce company handbook, SOPs, policies, and processes.
- Act as manager or duty manager when required, ensuring standards are maintained.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in event planning, marketing, promotions, or social media management (restaurant/hospitality experience preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with social media platforms and basic content creation.
- Outgoing and personable demeanor for community representation.
- Ability to build relationships within the local nightlife, F&B, and promoter communities.
- Basic budgeting and reporting skills.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with email marketing or CRM/loyalty platforms.
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Express, etc.).
- Existing local network or community connections.
- Photography/videography skills.
- Excellent telephone, social media, and email etiquette.
- Creative thinker with the ability to implement action plans.
- Detail-oriented.
- Solid understanding of the nightlife business.
- Solid financial skills and ability to analyze financial statements.
- Strong professional network and relationships within local nightlife community, F&B, promoters, and other industry leaders.
