About the Role

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all customers. Responsible for assisting with the operation of the Grocery and General Merchandise department, including merchandising, rotation, and inventory levels to promote optimal sales. Assists the Center Store Team Lead with the financial aspects of the department and oversees clerks.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
• Smile, make eye contact, and thank customers.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation.
• Assist with day-to-day department operations including merchandising, pricing, stocking, signing, planograms, displays, rotation, and inventory levels.
• Assist with ordering merchandise and supplies.
• Meet transmission times for orders.
• Store excess product in the back room or designated area.
• Maintain a high level of customer courtesy and service throughout the store.
• Perform front-end services as needed.
• Ensure adherence to company and state sanitation and pricing procedures.
• Unload warehouse merchandise from trucks.
• Assist with training and development of new associates.
• Take responsibility for the store as directed by the store manager.
• Control shrink through adherence to policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives.
