About the Role
As the HR Assistant, you will be passionate about making Untold Studios a great place to work. This detail-oriented, service-focused role supports the People team and helps create the conditions for our team to do their best work. We are committed to supporting your ongoing development.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment by preparing offer letters, coordinating onboarding documentation, verifying employment eligibility, and assisting with new hire onboarding.
- Act as a point of contact for new employees during their onboarding process.
- Support managers with scheduling meetings, coordinating introductory meetings, and assisting with HR communications.
- Assist with maintenance of employee information in the HR system, including PTO tracking, sick leave, onboarding, and offboarding documentation.
- Organize and maintain personnel files, ensuring employee records are accurate and compliant with Canadian and Ontario employment regulations.
- Support the onboarding and administration of permanent and project-based employees.
- Assist with production staffing coordination, including tracking start and end dates, supporting extensions, and ensuring documentation is completed.
- Assist employees with general questions regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes.
- Work with the HR Team to ensure company policies remain current and compliant with Canadian and Ontario laws.
- Prepare HR reports and headcount information as required.
- Process incoming HR mail, actioning routine items and escalating time-sensitive matters.
- Support the administration and execution of learning and development initiatives and People programs.

- Must be living and eligible to work in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

- $22 - $24 CAD hourly
