About the Role
3i is hiring a Manager, Peer Programs to build out their Groups product line from the ground up. This role involves designing and operationalizing the infrastructure for matching, training, and supporting members in small peer groups, ensuring scalability without losing the personal touch.
Responsibilities
- Build the infrastructure for Groups end to end.
- Own member group onboarding: define sign-up process, questions, and pairing methods.
- Recruit, train, and support member leads, developing materials and processes for effective group management.
- Define group cadence and structure, including meeting frequency, session formats, member/lead expectations, and communication flows.
- Develop a scalable system that supports 20 to 200 members.
- Operate, scale, and measure the impact of the Groups product line.
- Build feedback loops and checkpoints to assess group effectiveness for members, leads, and 3i.
- Manage the calendar and operational cadence, including recruiting cycles, group assembly, scheduling, and communications.
- Track performance and iterate on processes.
- Build trust with members and member leads to gather insights on what is working and what is not.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the SVP of Network and other teams.
Requirements
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and operate autonomously.
- Proven experience in taking vague ideas or visions and transforming them into structured systems.
- Approximately 4-6 years of experience, ideally in consulting or a strategy/operations role at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
- Experience building or scaling processes, not just executing existing ones.
- Exposure to membership organizations, cohort-based platforms, or member-facing products is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in building processes with a focus on workflows, checkpoints, and repeatability.
- Experience building structured methods to capture and act on user or member feedback.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of end-to-end operational chains.
