Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain technical solutions for legacy .NET applications on Windows 10/11 and Windows Servers, including desktop application components.
- Propose improvements to eliminate technical debt and enhance automation within the application suite.
- Document all application updates and changes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners, agile squads, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to prioritize and complete project work.
- Communicate and interact frequently with partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience using .NET technology stack for front-end to back-end cloud (Openshift) and Windows hosted application component development, implementation, and maintenance.
- Experience with security authorization/authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Active Directory, Application Certificates).
- Experience with HTTP, SOAP, and REST protocols for Rich and cloud application development.
- Understanding of XML structure and data layouts for data movement between platforms.
- Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, vulnerability fixes, and refactoring legacy code.
