About the Role
ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), a leading national practice in ENT, Allergy, and Audiology, is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant for their Fresh Meadows and Dyker Heights offices.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in person or by phone and appropriately handle inquiries.
- Prepare patients for appointments by directing or accompanying them to exam rooms.
- Verify and record patient information, including medical history and reason for visit.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic in-office lab testing.
- Maintain sterile instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies.
- Educate patients on medications and provide instructions as directed.
- Accurately document examinations, treatments, and test results.
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred.
- Strong patient service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive patient experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in Biology
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification
- Five (5) years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant
