About the Role
The Sales Support Specialist will provide administrative support to grow the business and enhance customer relationships, ultimately increasing revenue and profitability. This role is crucial for supporting the sales team in building great products and contributing to company growth.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales team and customers to provide efficient and comprehensive service and establish solid relationships.
- Assist the sales team with business development and growth for new and existing customers.
- Provide sales administration and support to the sales function.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the company and its products/services.
- Assist the Sales team in preparing quotations for customers.
- Create sales orders upon receiving purchase orders from customers.
- Provide and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly reports.
- Assist the Sales team in identifying sales guides and opportunities, providing relevant research.
- Perform cross-functional communication with the solutions team to ensure the sales team has necessary support.
- Monitor sales pipeline performance with sales business to ensure quarterly & annual targets are met.
- Contribute with sales management to identify areas of improvement in the sales pipeline and develop strategies with the sales team.
Requirements
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) or equivalent work experience.
- Typically requires 4 years of related experience.
- Demonstrates advanced experience and skills associated with performing assigned sales support functions.
- Demonstrates advanced/thorough knowledge of the function and Flex’s business.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
