About the Role
Blackstone Data Science (BXDS) is seeking a passionate undergraduate to join as a Summer Analyst. This role will accelerate a data-driven evolution within Blackstone by evaluating deals, driving business value with portfolio companies, and curating insights from datasets. The individual will apply quantitative methods to investment analysis and business impact, demonstrating intellectual curiosity in solving real-world problems using data.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate live private equity and real estate deals using data science techniques.
- Work with portfolio company management teams to drive business value.
- Curate novel insights using broad-ranging datasets.
- Generate novel approaches to critical investment processes.
- Drive innovation in private equity.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or pursuing a master’s degree immediately following undergraduate studies.
- Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2027 – Spring 2028.
- Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA.

Skills
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in SQL (preferred).
- Foundation in statistics and mathematics.
- Ability to work with and combine disparate and varied data sources.
- Strong analytical methodologies.

- Experience balancing multiple projects and meeting goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- BXDS sits at the intersection of quantitative and qualitative investment analysis with a focus on projects that “move the needle.”
- Summer Analysts will have the opportunity to work directly with senior management at Blackstone and top executives from portfolio companies.
