About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analytics Manager to lead our UK & EU analytics strategy and reporting. This role involves hands-on work with SQL, Python, dbt, and BI platforms to build data models, design self-serve analytics, and translate data into actionable business recommendations. You will manage a team of three direct reports and shape how insights empower international operations, acting as a proactive decision partner.
Responsibilities
- Own the UK & EU analytics strategy, setting the agenda, priorities, and operating model.
- Partner with senior leadership in the UK and Europe as a trusted analytical advisor.
- Establish a consistent view of business performance across acquisition, conversion, retention, and revenue.
- Manage and coach a team of analysts, fostering ownership and high standards.
- Drive prioritization and accountability, balancing stakeholder demands and making trade-offs.
- Build scalable, trusted analytics through common definitions, dashboards, and self-service capabilities.
- Support European growth by ensuring new launches have clear metrics and measurement plans.
- Partner across the global data organization to align definitions, standards, and reusable capabilities.
- Increase leverage through AI and modern analytics tooling to accelerate analysis and improve self-service.
Requirements
- 7-8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or product analytics.
- At least 2 years of direct team management experience.
- Experience operating as the accountable analytics partner for a business area, market, or senior leadership group.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Sufficient statistical and analytical depth to challenge senior analytical work.
- Ability to turn broad business questions into structured analytical frameworks.
- Ability to connect findings to business economics, customer behavior, and consequential decisions.
- Track record of building trust with senior leaders and influencing decisions.
- Experience developing strong analysts, setting clear expectations, and raising performance standards.
- Ability to handle difficult performance or prioritization decisions.
- Experience creating clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Comfortable saying no, not yet, or suggesting better ways when demand exceeds capacity.
- Experience improving systems through common definitions, reusable analysis, self-service, tooling, and clear ownership.
- Comfortable with modern warehouses, transformation tooling, and BI platforms (e.g., BigQuery, dbt, Sigma/Looker).
- Understanding of semantic modeling and data quality.
- Understanding of how AI and automation are changing Analytics and their pragmatic application.
