About the Role

Rogers-O'Brien Construction is seeking a dedicated Equipment Rental Representative to assist customers with their equipment rental needs, manage rental orders, and ensure exceptional service. This role is key to facilitating smooth rental processes and contributing to client success. As an Inside Sales Associate, you will collaborate with Trade Partner (TP) customers, understand their needs, recommend equipment, and coordinate rental logistics, vital for growth and reputation.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for TP customers inquiring about equipment rentals and provide excellent customer service.
Manage rental orders from initial inquiry to equipment return, coordinating availability and scheduling to meet customer needs.
Process rental orders accurately using our rental management software, ensuring all paperwork is completed promptly.
Develop an understanding of our equipment inventory to provide guidance and recommendations to customers.
Assist in monitoring equipment inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure maintenance and readiness.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify rental opportunities and support sales initiatives with product information.
Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and educating customers on equipment usage.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, sales, or equipment rental preferred for effective customer engagement.
Knowledge of construction equipment and industry trends is desirable for informed recommendations.

Skills

Exceptional communication skills for effectively interacting with customers and understanding their rental needs.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate processing of rental orders and paperwork.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and rental management software, for efficient order processing.

Education Level

High school diploma or equivalent with additional education in business administration as a plus.
