About the Role

Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady is seeking a motivated and experienced General Litigation / Product Liability Attorney with 3-8 years of experience. This role requires initiative, sound judgment, and the ability to independently manage cases from start to finish. The attorney will collaborate with colleagues and interact directly with clients and industry professionals, offering an excellent opportunity to develop a litigation practice in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Manage general litigation and product liability matters from inception through resolution, independently and with supervision as appropriate.
Conduct file review and legal analysis of claims, defenses, and causes of action.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other litigation-related filings.
Handle depositions, court appearances, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation.
Participate in trial preparation and attend trial proceedings, as necessary.
Conduct legal research and provide strategic legal advice to clients.
Retain and work with expert witnesses.
Negotiate settlements and handle alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness and adherence to client guidelines.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal support staff.
Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court and procedural requirements.

Requirements

Admission to practice in the State of New York is required.
3–8 years of experience handling general litigation and product liability matters.
Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills, with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
Admission to practice in New Jersey, Connecticut, and/or Pennsylvania is a plus.
Federal Court experience is a plus.
