About the Role

SANY's Citizenship and Science Academy of Rochester is seeking a Full-Time Building Substitute to assist with preparation and instruction, work closely with small groups of students, and implement classroom policies. This role is ideal for both new and experienced teachers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and instruction
  • Work closely with small groups of students and provide intervention
  • Actively participate in weekly meetings and attend all school-wide events
  • Implement classroom policies and procedures
  • Lead students to and from specials/lunch
  • Effectively manage student behavior
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
  • Fingerprint clearance through the NYS Department of Education
