About the Role

Assists with nursing care activities and surgical services for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients, aligning with hospital policies and procedures. Provides age-appropriate care based on unit or department needs.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub nurse in assisting with nursing care activities and surgical services.
• Provide nursing care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills for age-appropriate patient care.

Requirements

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of previous medical/surgical and/or Operating Room experience.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required through a nationally accredited educational program, such as National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
