About the Role
Join a high-end, rapidly growing bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and architectural joinery manufacturer. This role supports the manufacturing process by creating, assembling, fitting, and finishing bespoke joinery and furniture components.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret production drawings, assembly drawings, cutting lists, and manufacturing documentation
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke cabinets, furniture, doors, wardrobes, wall panelling, reception desks, and other bespoke joinery components
- Perform dry fitting of components to ensure dimensional accuracy before final assembly
- Fit hardware including hinges, drawer systems, runners, locks, handles, lighting components, and specialist ironmongery
- Carry out trimming, fitting, sanding, and surface preparation to meet high quality standards
- Safely operate hand tools, portable power tools, and workshop equipment
- Conduct ongoing quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify and report defects
- Collaborate closely with CNC Operators, Machinists, Veneering, Design, and Production teams to resolve issues and deliver projects on time
- Maintain clean, organized workstations and adhere to all workshop Health & Safety policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker within high-end, bespoke joinery manufacturing
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical joinery drawings, cutting lists, and assembly details
- Proficiency in traditional and modern assembly methods, component jointing, and fine hand-tool work
- Extensive hands-on experience fitting high-end hardware, specialist ironmongery, and integrated lighting systems
