About the Role
Join a high-end, rapidly growing bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and architectural joinery manufacturer as a Production Supervisor. You will manage the day-to-day running of the factory floor, ensuring projects move safely, efficiently, and on time through all manufacturing stages.
Responsibilities
- Organize, allocate, and supervise daily workloads across various teams according to project priorities.
- Maintain continuous workflow by ensuring drawings, materials, and components are ready before production starts.
- Manage live project tracking by issuing, updating, and maintaining Job Cards and documentation.
- Update Monday.com daily to record production progress, log delays, and reflect project statuses.
- Perform hands-on quality checks at each manufacturing stage to identify defects and minimize rework.
- Maintain clear daily communication with management regarding progress and potential delays.
- Uphold high standards of factory organization, housekeeping, product identification, and storage.
- Promote and enforce strict workshop Health & Safety practices and safe machinery operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a hands-on Supervisory or Factory Management role within high-end, bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing.
- Comprehensive understanding of bench joinery, timber machining, CNC operations, veneering, and assembly processes.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex technical joinery drawings, cutting lists, and production documentation.
- Track record of managing project workflows, tracking systems (e.g., Monday.com, Job Cards), and maintaining strict quality control.
