About the Role

The Beverage Bar Back will provide friendly, excellent service to every customer, keep the beverage area clean and stocked, and deliver requisitioned bar supplies. This role requires extensive physical exertion and the ability to communicate effectively in English, all while adhering to Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.
• Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors, managers, and staff.
• Adhere to all food and beverage policies, procedures, and liquor laws.
• Adhere to TIPS Certification and Alcohol Awareness, food safety policy, and procedures.
• Complete all required SGC Training programs within nine months of employment.
• Maintain a current understanding of all policy and guidelines regarding information security.
• Attend all necessary meetings.
• Be knowledgeable of casino promotions and events to answer customer questions.
• Inform customers of forthcoming special events and other facilities.
• Obtain supplies and equipment for each beverage station and place fruits, glasses, and silverware in their respective places.
• Prepare fruit, fill ice bins, and clean ashtrays.
• Push, pull, and turn a four-wheel loaded cart to all bars in the casino from the liquor storeroom.
• Unload cart and place or stack orders in pre-designated areas.
• Tend to all small-ware handling and maintenance.
• Clear debris from the bar and tables.
• Return empty cart to liquor storeroom.
• Remove trash, empty boxes, and soiled bar towels one to four times a shift.
• Thoroughly clean the floors of all mats and the floor behind bars.
• Exchange empty bottles of liquor for full bottles in the pump room.
• Change Bag in Box, CO2 tanks, and tap kegs.
• Collect and return all beer bottles to the recycling room for pick up.
• Deliver empty liquor bottles to the liquor storeroom area.
• Deliver ice to bars as needed.
• Assist in maintenance of the casino floor with beverage servers and EVS.
• Obtain and deliver guest food orders as needed.
• Occasionally act as Beverage Bartender when needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• Ability to operate juice guns, cutting boards, soda guns, ice machines, mixers, pourers, knives, coffee machines, non-alcoholic frozen drink machines, ice tea machines, and other necessary equipment.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Ability to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees.
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced casino environment.
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds, bend, pull, and carry beverage stock to and from refrigerators and cabinets.
