About the Role

This internship offers an engaging work experience where you can apply analytical skills and passion for markets at a leading investment firm, experiencing the dynamic nature of the trading floor. You will work alongside experienced investment professionals in a friendly and open environment, with a strong learning culture that encourages opinions and development of market expertise and interpersonal skills. Interns gain access to industry tools, research, and interact with traders, portfolio managers, economic researchers, and banks.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a wide array of experience across equities, commodities, fixed income, and FX in global markets.
  • Collaborate and solve problems in real-time on the trading floor.
  • Tackle ad-hoc problems.
  • Build tools that help traders negotiate transactions.
  • Research and present findings on different market microstructures.
  • Automate trading processes.

Requirements

  • Seeking a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Possess outstanding academic records.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors such as student government, student run financial groups, athletics, and entrepreneurial activities.
  • Strong understanding and passion for financial markets, instruments, trading strategies, and the global economy.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze large financial datasets, economic indicators, and market trends, and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate trading strategies and market views effectively.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a continuous desire to learn and improve.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment with a collaborative mindset.
  • Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located.
