About the Role
This internship offers an engaging work experience where you can apply analytical skills and passion for markets at a leading investment firm. You will experience the dynamic nature of the trading floor environment in a friendly and open setting, working alongside experienced investment professionals. The role encourages offering opinions, developing market expertise, and strengthening interpersonal skills. Interns gain access to industry tools, research, and opportunities to interact with various finance professionals.
Responsibilities
- Help tackle ad-hoc problems.
- Build tools that help traders negotiate transactions.
- Research and present findings on different market microstructures.
- Automate trading processes.
Requirements
- Seeking a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate or graduate student.
- Possess outstanding academic records.
- Demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors.
- Strong understanding and passion for financial markets, instruments, trading strategies, and the global economy.
- Ability to interpret and analyze large financial datasets, economic indicators, and market trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate trading strategies and market views effectively.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a continuous desire to learn and improve.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment with a collaborative mindset.
- Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located.
