About the Role

You will be part of the People & Culture News Media Germany team at Axel Springer Germany, shaping modern people work across the entire employee lifecycle. You will bring strategic thinking and operational excellence, drive the development of high-performing organizations, and enjoy working in a dynamic technology environment. Responsibilities

  • Advise employees and managers throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
  • Accompany and shape performance and feedback processes, fostering a continuous development culture.
  • Act as a consultant and coach for managers on leadership, performance management, organizational development, team setups, and labor and works council legal issues.
  • Actively participate in HR projects, taking ownership of topics from conception to rollout.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, and other expert teams.
  • Shape trusting cooperation with employee representatives and implement change processes constructively and legally sound.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree, ideally with a focus on HR, business, law, or organization.
  • Several years of HR experience, preferably in a technology-driven environment, with familiarity with the dynamics of tech, product, and engineering teams.
  • Strategic and conceptual thinking, translating people topics into effective measures, and driving HR projects independently.
  • Experience in performance management and feedback processes to establish an effective feedback and development culture.
  • Proven ability to act as a sparring partner for managers through empathy, structured, solution-oriented, and data-based consulting skills.
  • Proficiency in labor and works council law.
  • Team player with confident communication skills in German and English.
  • Comfortable working in an international, diverse environment.
