About the Role
The Student Development Officer supports the operational administration, event planning, and delivery of Community Volunteering, Course Buddies (peer-mentoring), and Professional Mentoring programmes. This role aims to help students develop skills, complement academic achievements, and become successful, highly employable graduates.
Responsibilities
- Enables students to engage in Community Volunteering, Course Buddies (peer-mentoring), and Professional Mentoring.
- Covers operational administration, event planning, preparation and delivery, relationship management, communications, evaluation, reporting, recognition and quality.
- Supports students to participate in extra-curricular activity to develop skills, complement their academic achievements and help them become successful, highly employable graduates.
- Requires occasional evening or weekend work for events, for which time off in lieu is accrued.
