About the Role
Langan is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager specializing in Power Generation and Transmission projects to join its leadership team in Houston, Dallas, or Austin, Texas. This role is key to driving design, permitting, and client management efforts, contributing to the firm's growth in the civil market.
Responsibilities
- Lead site/civil and multi-discipline efforts on power generation and transmission projects, including design and oversight of site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion/sediment control from concept to completion.
- Design and permit project sites for institutional, commercial, warehouse/distribution, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
- Collaborate with office leadership on growth plans and staff utilization.
- Engage in Business Development activities, including developing new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones.
- Lead storm water management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
- Integrate geotechnical and environmental engineering aspects into land development projects.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of successful, local, and related site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on Power Generation and Transmission projects.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing.
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits, and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
