About the Role

Join our expert team and contribute to the development and integration of innovative modules for high-performance, directional radio communication systems. You will design and develop digital components of our radio devices, including component selection, integration, and interface design with analog hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop digital components of radio devices, including component selection, integration, and interface design with analog hardware.
• Create schematics, perform simulations, and oversee circuit layout using modern CAE tools.
• Verify and validate circuit performance through measurements and tests, from component characterization to system integration.
• Collaborate with experts from systems engineering, software development, electrical and mechanical design, and customers to ensure successful system integration.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Communications/Information Technology or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in digital hardware development.
• Practical experience in implementing complex hardware designs with FPGAs, SoCs, DDR Memory, High-Speed Digital Interfaces, and Power Supplies into manufacturable modules.
• Experience in commissioning, testing, and verification of hardware modules using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and signal generators.
• Experience in FPGA development and good knowledge of VHDL are advantageous.
• Experience with receivers, RF front-ends, and communication systems is advantageous.
• Very careful, structured, and responsible way of working.
• High teamwork ability, quick comprehension, and strong communication skills.
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
