About the Role

Debtist is rebuilding the infrastructure for digital debt management, including payment reminders, collections, pre-legal and legal processes, and payment processing. Their AI-powered platform is built in-house and is trusted by clients like DeepL and Statista, processing hundreds of millions of Euros in payment volume. Founded in 2023, the company has grown to 55 employees and plans to reach around 100 by next summer, with PE and Scandinavian investor backing for expansion into six additional European markets. Responsibilities

Develop and extend core services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
Work on REST and GraphQL APIs.
Contribute to AI integrations based on OpenAI.
Deploy applications on Google Cloud (Serverless) using Docker.
Utilize Prisma and MySQL for database operations.
Collaborate closely with the frontend team.

Requirements

Several years of solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Senior mindset: ability to work independently, make decisions, and take responsibility.
Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs.
Fluent German and good English language skills.
Willingness to work 4 days a week on-site in the central Berlin office.
