About the Role

The London EDITION is seeking a Security Officer responsible for the protection of hotel assets, employees, patrons, and property, as well as accident, health and safety, and fire prevention. This role ensures all hotel areas are safe and secure, working with management and employees to execute security tasks.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling the property
• Assisting with guests
• Monitoring and responding to alarms
• Locking property entrances when required and being responsible for keys
• Conducting daily physical hazard inspections
• Responding to accidents and contacting EMS or administering first aid/CPR as required
• Assisting guests/employees during emergency situations
• Reporting to scenes of accidents/incidents and completing reports where applicable
• Resolving safety hazard situations
• Escorting any unwelcome persons from the property without interrupting the orderly flow of property operation
• Completing security shift summary/daily activity report

Requirements

• Understands the impact of their job in the overall guest experience
• Has a watchful eye and protective instinct goes far beyond the basics
• Makes our guests and employees feel like they can come and go freely without worry
• Has a dedication to safety which provides the guest with a sense of security as they feel in their own home
