About the Role
We are seeking a motivated student with a keen interest in Procurement to gain hands-on experience in an international business environment. This role supports procurement operations, internal stakeholder management, and process optimization, offering valuable insights into purchasing processes and contributing to cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contracts for goods and services in accordance with defined scopes and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage procurement-related requests from internal stakeholders through our ticketing system while ensuring compliance with agreed SLAs.
- Support request-for-quotation (RFQ) processes and execute tactical purchasing activities within defined spend categories and approval thresholds.
- Analyze spending patterns across supported KWS legal entities and identify opportunities for catalog implementation and process improvements.
- Support the delivery of end-user training and enable stakeholders to effectively utilize procurement tools and processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounts Payable, ExHub Procurement, Master Data Management, General Ledger & Controlling, and Global IT, to ensure seamless end-to-end process execution.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program at a German university, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in procurement and a proactive, learning-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in German and English.
- Spanish, Italian, French, or other EU languages are a plus.
- High affinity for IT tools, including very good Excel skills.
- Knowledge of SAP CPH is a plus.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
