About the Role
Airtek is seeking a passionate and experienced Business Development Executive to drive strategic growth and account management within the public and private sector real estate development, construction services, and building management markets. This role focuses on generating new revenue while nurturing existing client relationships, collaborating with leadership and expert teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth across public and private sector real estate development, construction services, property management, and related markets.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through networking, market research, industry engagement, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within target markets and client organizations.
- Collaborate with operational and technical leaders to understand client needs, develop tailored solutions, and position Airtek's environmental consulting services effectively.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client relationships by identifying opportunities for expanded service offerings and increased client engagement.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective and active opportunities, including tracking activities, forecasting revenue, and reporting on business development performance.
- Represent Airtek at industry conferences, trade associations, networking events, educational seminars, and other business development activities to enhance market visibility and generate new opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by developing a thorough understanding of their business objectives, challenges, and environmental consulting needs.
- Partner with leadership to establish annual business development goals, target markets, account strategies, and marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate internal resources and subject matter experts to support client pursuits, proposal development, presentations, and strategic account planning.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform growth strategies and business planning.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and client communications that effectively communicate Airtek's capabilities and value proposition.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional client service, responsiveness, and long-term relationship success.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Airtek's service offerings, industry regulations, and market developments to effectively identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Meet or exceed established business development, revenue growth, and client retention objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of business development, client relationship management, account growth, or consultative sales experience within professional services, environmental consulting, engineering, construction, real estate, or related industries.
- Demonstrated success identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while growing existing client relationships.
- Experience working with public and/or private sector real estate development, construction services, property management, architecture, engineering, or related markets preferred.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling, strategic account management, and relationship-based business development practices.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, industry partners, and executive stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build credibility, develop long-term client relationships, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Experience utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) to manage pipelines, track opportunities, and report on business development activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability and willingness to attend networking events, industry conferences, client meetings, and trade association functions.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
