About the Role
Cancer Research UK is seeking an experienced Email and SMS marketing professional to broadcast email marketing campaigns using Adobe Campaign Manager and support marketers in delivering their own campaigns. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a world-renowned multi-channel marketing platform.
Responsibilities
- Deliver email and SMS marketing campaign plans to time, budget, and against agreed KPIs with support from Email & SMS Marketing Executives.
- Plan and build automated workflows to meet marketing plans and audience objectives, prioritizing supporters.
- Lead data and digital campaign set-up requirements for optimal targeting and tracking in collaboration with Data Selections and Web Analyst experts.
- Collaborate with UX experts to devise pre-launch test and learn initiatives, using results for optimization recommendations.
- Act as a channel expert for email and SMS delivery, maximizing Adobe's potential for timely, relevant, and personalized communications to drive audience engagement.
- Work with Digital Marketing & Delivery teams to execute campaigns effectively, considering cross-channel activity.
- Maintain a future-facing view of digital marketing trends to keep Cancer Research UK's communications ahead of the curve, recommending automation for efficiency.
- Lead in-campaign reporting and post-campaign analysis, sharing optimization recommendations with stakeholders.
- Mentor Email & SMS Marketing Executives, providing guidance and upskilling.
- Collaborate with Fundraising & Marketing teams to share learnings and best practices.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in delivering email and SMS marketing campaigns from planning to execution and analysis.
- Experience using Adobe Campaign or similar technology for campaign delivery and automation.
- Knowledge of HTML.
- Experience planning personalized email and SMS journeys for different audience segments.
- Passion for digital marketing with knowledge of the latest trends.
- Data-driven with an understanding of UX principles and experience interpreting results and recommending optimization opportunities.
- Experience building positive working relationships and working effectively in a team.
- Experience managing own workload, meeting deadlines, and handling changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
