About the Role

Two cardiology clinical research fellow posts are available at City St George’s, University of London, supported by research fellow grants. These positions offer the opportunity to conduct research projects for a higher research degree (MDres or PhD) and gain clinical training in inherited cardiac conditions, sports cardiology, and cardiac imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake research under supervision in inherited cardiac conditions, sports cardiology, and cardiac screening.
  • Support CRY screening services.
  • Receive clinical training in inherited cardiac conditions, sports cardiology, and cardiac imaging.

Requirements

  • Clinically qualified with ALS and MRCP.
  • Ideally have a specialty interest in imaging and arrhythmias.
  • Experience of working with families with inherited cardiac conditions.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Flexibility and ability to be a good team member.
