About the Role

Join Lewisham’s Integrated Adolescent Service as a Systemic Practitioner to shape safe, supportive, and meaningful change for young people. This role involves using systemic, trauma-informed, anti-racist, restorative, and contextual approaches in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, relational interventions to children, young people, and families.
  • Utilize systemic, trauma-informed, anti-racist, restorative, and contextual approaches to support change, improve emotional wellbeing, and promote safety.
  • Contribute systemic thinking to assessments, planning, and interventions within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in reflective practice.
  • Help shape the development of a learning-oriented, innovative service.
  • Champion inclusive, culturally responsive practice.

Requirements

  • Reflective, relational practitioner passionate about working systemically with adolescents and their families.
  • Strong grounding in systemic theory.
  • Ability to apply trauma-informed, anti-racist, restorative, and contextual approaches in practice.
  • Skilled at building trusting relationships.
  • Curious thinking.
  • Confident using systemic tools such as genograms and relational formulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to contribute to reflective spaces.
  • Emotionally intelligent and resilient.
  • Motivated to help strengthen safety, wellbeing, and relational outcomes for young people.
  • Must complete the application fully, with a supporting statement covering how each person specification criterion is met.
