About the Role

The Consultant role involves working within a team to fulfill customer travel requirements using Flight Centre's preferred products and suppliers. The goal is to maximize quote-to-booking conversions and build a loyal customer base through exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Meet all customers travel requirements
• Utilise Flight Centre’s preferred product & suppliers
• Maximise quote to booking conversions
• Build a sustainable customer portfolio through outstanding customer experience and service levels
• Focus on monthly KPI targets and driving towards them
• Process lots of information accurately
• Ensure invoicing is correct

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales
• Proven track record in individual sales
• Strong GDS Experience, Ideally Amadeus
• Round the world fares experience

Skills

• Able to juggle several responsibilities competently
• Able to communicate with team members and work together in close proximity
• Able to use initiative and self-motivation to reach targets and exceed expectations
• Ability to think ‘outside the box’ and to control situations that may arise
• Able to think about why things change and look upon changes positively
• Continually upskills and learns in their relevant discipline (destination expertise, airfare expertise, complex airfares, premium cabins, group travel etc.)

• Able to build relationships and be professional at all times
