About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help drive sustainable growth across HCF’s international portfolio (Overseas Visitors and Students Health Cover - OVHC & OSHC). Reporting to the General Manager – International Business, you’ll build and manage relationships with Migration Agents, corporate partners and brokers, identify new business opportunities and develop partnerships that support member and portfolio growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue high-value business development opportunities
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners
  • Develop trusted relationships with Migration Agents, corporate partners and brokers
  • Deliver sales, revenue and membership growth targets
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities
  • Support commercial negotiations and partnership agreements
  • Work closely with internal teams to identify and scale international opportunities
  • Provide reporting, forecasts and insights on pipeline and partner performance

Requirements

  • Proven Business Development experience with a strong focus on growth and commercial outcomes
  • Demonstrated success achieving sales and revenue targets
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience building pipelines and developing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to use data and insights to inform decisions
  • Experience within health insurance and / or an established network or experience working with Migration Agents will be highly regarded.
