About the Role
As a Sales Consultant, you will convert customer inquiries into confirmed bookings by helping guests find the right holiday home from our portfolio. You will manage customers from initial inquiry to booking, using your knowledge to make recommendations, follow up on opportunities, and work towards sales targets. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role for someone who enjoys customer interaction, closing sales, and managing their pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Manage villa inquiries across phone, email, live chat, and Salesforce.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, and budgets to recommend suitable properties.
- Develop strong knowledge of properties and destinations to provide expert advice.
- Manage customers from initial inquiry through to confirmed booking.
- Proactively follow up leads and manage sales pipeline to maximize conversion.
- Identify opportunities to increase booking value and revenue.
- Liaise with homeowners and internal teams on availability, pricing, and special requests.
- Work towards individual and team KPIs, conversion rates, and sales targets.
- Maintain accurate customer and booking information in Salesforce.
- Share knowledge, leads, and ideas with the wider Sales team.
- Represent Oliver's Travels and deliver a consistently high standard of customer experience.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence speaking to customers on the phone.
- A commercial mindset and genuine motivation to convert inquiries into bookings.
- Confidence working towards targets, KPIs, and incentives.
- Strong organization and attention to detail.
- The ability to understand customer requirements and confidently recommend appropriate options.
- Confidence using, or learning, CRM systems and other sales tools.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple inquiries at once.
