About the Role

This 18-month program is your chance to begin or advance your career in financial services while earning a Level 3 Compliance & Risk qualification. You will play an important role in supporting UK branch operations alongside our Compliance Officer. This is a great opportunity to learn compliance and risk fundamentals in a collaborative, global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Providing advice, guidance and support for assigned business areas.
  • Supporting the business in the implementation of new regulation.
  • Supporting the Compliance Officer in the delivery of our Annual Compliance Plan.
  • Promoting a robust, transparent compliance and risk culture.
  • Assisting with the identification, assessment, advice, monitoring and reporting against the applicable regulatory codes, laws and regulations impacting on reinsurance compliance.
  • Assisting in compliance monitoring reviews and reports.
  • Assisting in the preparation of Compliance reporting to senior management including contribution to board and committee reports to ensure senior management and Board members are up to date and aware of key compliance issues and actions required.
  • Maintenance of the compliance registers.
  • Carry out testing and review of our key controls, in liaison with second and third line of defence teams, including risk management and internal audit.
