About the Role

We're excited to welcome a Housekeeping Supervisor to our friendly team at Birchwood Residential Care Home in Ilford. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver cleaning schedules consistently
- Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment that feels like home for residents
- Support and develop Housekeeping Assistants through day-to-day guidance and training
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control across the home
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support residents’ wellbeing
Requirements
- Experience providing housekeeping services, ideally in a residential setting
- Confidence leading and supporting a small team
- Knowledge of infection control and safe cleaning practices
- Clear communication skills and a flexible, positive approach
- A caring, enthusiastic nature with a genuine respect for older people
- Right to work in the UK
- Safeguarding and pre-employment checks, including criminal records and overseas police checks if needed
