About the Role

The Interface Management department serves as the central interface for cross-departmental information and sales technology processes within BVG. It performs coordinating, administrative, and controlling tasks, ensuring smooth collaboration with other business units. Support us as a System Administrator for data acquisition systems with a focus on information and telecommunications technology (ICT) and actively shape BVG's digital infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Planning, documentation, testing, and acceptance of IT building infrastructures.
  • Coordination and archiving of ICT technology, site plans, and copper and fiber optic cables.
  • Administration of the electronic archive for operational documentation, adhering to IT security standards for long-term archiving.
  • Independent system coordination, including coordinating workflows of software components, and professional error analysis and resolution.
  • Ensuring operational and data security through planning, provision, implementation, monitoring, and continuous optimization of software.
  • Monitoring compliance with legal and technical requirements, especially GDPR and relevant VDE, DIN, and BSI standards.
  • Ensuring proper documentation necessary for ICT operations.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or Communication Technology, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on extensive professional experience.
  • Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level).
