Responsibilities
- Advise deal teams on approval requirements for different transaction types.
- Schedule, ensure smooth operation of, and minute follow-ups for Capital or Commitments committees in various forms.
- Initiate risk bookings post transaction signing via approval of eCARs, working with Controllers, Middle Office and Divisional Risk.
- Fulfill deputized responsibilities on behalf of Chief Underwriting Officers, including presentation of transactions to committee.
- Assist in the roll-out of regulatory driven changes to approval processes and committee memoranda templates.
- Coordinate responses to internal and external audits and periodic regulatory examinations.
- Act as a team lead by advising and training junior team members.
Requirements
- At least 4-5 years of related experience.
- Interest in debt and equity capital markets.
- Accurate and detail-oriented with sound judgment and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral as well as written.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Motivated to develop credit and equity analysis skills and an understanding of financing documentation.
- Ability to work well with team members and across multiple other internal teams.
