About the Role

The Field Care Supervisor role supports the delivery of high-quality care services by assessing and reviewing individual services, and practically supervising, instructing, and supporting care workers. This role involves working in the community and performing some office-based administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the highest quality care support services.
  • Carry out assessment and review of individual services.
  • Provide practical supervision, instruction, and support of care workers.
  • Work with Care Coordinators to support the planning of effective care worker rotas.
  • Carry out regular reviews of individual services, including needs and risk assessments.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews of service users’ needs.
  • Shadow new care workers in the field to ensure their competence.
  • Carry out on-site observation and evaluation of care worker practice.
  • Spend the majority of working time in the community.
  • Undertake office-based administrative work.

Requirements

  • Experience in carrying out initial risk and needs assessments for individual service users in various settings.
  • Ability to work in partnership with service users, families, carers, advocates, and healthcare professionals.
  • Bengali speaking preferred.
