About the Role

The role involves independently managing project measures for the coordination office of the Monitoring Panel for the National Action Plan for Children's Chances, starting as soon as possible, but no later than November 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and manage project measures for the effective operation of the coordination office for the Monitoring Panel supporting the National Action Plan for Children's Chances.
• Develop data foundations for monitoring the implementation of the National Action Plan in collaboration with scientific institutions.
• Organize coordination with the funding agency and contractors for the accompanying research, ensuring professional exchange.
• Manage project progress, oversee the budget, ensure milestone adherence, and represent the coordination office to third parties.

Requirements

• Identify with the goals of the German Children's Fund and possess at least basic knowledge of children's rights.
• Completed university degree (at least Bachelor's level), preferably with an empirical focus, and relevant professional experience in project conception and management.
• Competencies in coordinating the interests of various stakeholders and ideally experience working with scientific institutions.
• Ability to work independently and structured, excellent writing skills, enjoyment of communication, and teamwork.
